thumb_400x400_4490613.jpg We are excited to have The Picnic Train back in Canberra, running trips between Canberra Station and Bungendore. thumb_400x400_4490673.jpgThis year it will be the mighty R766 providing the steam power.

Between trips, the crew will bring the loco back into our museum yard for watering and refuelling. We can offer museum visitors the opportunity to watch the loco servicing up close.

The first dates are this weekend, the 14th and 15th March, followed by further dates over Easter. Timings for this weekend are 10:30am - noon and 3pm - 3.30pm.

Normal museum admission fees will apply.

If you are interested in buying tickets to travel on one of the trips, visit the Picnic Train web site
