Freight Wagons

L 1179 Bogie Water Gin - Built in 1917, this wagon was one of many on a ‘rake’ of wagons used to haul bulk domestic water from Menindee to Broken Hill before the Hill had its own pipeline built up from the Murray River.

NDXF 2718 Open Wagon - Built in 1964, one of an order for 580 general goods carrying wagons with wooden flooring, this one was built by AE Goodwin.

NHWF 773 Ballast Wagon - Built in 1967, used by the NSW Railways Civil Branch for track maintenance.

NTAF 7126 Fuel Tanker - 44,000 litre tanker built by Tulloch for Esso Petroleum Fuels

NBTX 22705 Refrigerator Van - Built in 1973 as an ice-cooled insulated van (for meat), later on used as an Arnott’s biscuit delivery van throughout NSW.
