Help FAQs

Member Jungle has created a Resources for Members webpage to provide information for members of clubs using Member Jungle.

A March 2025 webinar Using Member Jungle as a Member is available on YouTube.

Canberra Railway Museum (CRM) has Voluntary Workers Insurance to cover members wherever they are volunteering. We do not know who of our members may volunteer, when they may volunteer or what type of activity they may volunteer for.

To enable us to have insurance cover for volunteers of varying ages, we need to ask for the date of birth of all our members. These dates are aggregated and allow us to ensure that we have the appropriate Voluntary Workers Insurance policy.

CRM has a privacy policy that covers our use of members' personal information. We are not going to check that you enter the correct date of birth. As we rely on the information provided to us, there may be unintended consequences if it is incorrect.

We could ask every member every year to provide their age in years, but this approach would have a very high administration overhead of checking everyone has done the right thing. To make life less complex for everyone, Canberra Railway Museum has taken the approach of asking for date of birth, so it is entered only once and gives more time for everyone to enjoy their time with the museum.

The Captcha will appear if the system suspects that the person is a bot. Generally, the system will use silent Captcha but if there are any suspicions, it will do manual checks by displaying Captcha.

Note: Captcha is likely to be activated in several scenarios including:

  • Frequently logging in and out,
  • Use of Incognito windows, or
  • Encountering failed login attempts.

Activation may also occur if a user isn't signed in to Google or fails the initial CAPTCHA test. It's important to note that Google controls CAPTCHA functionality, meaning Member Jungle cannot influence whether you pass or fail the CAPTCHA, nor can they dictate the images displayed.

If you (designated as the primary member) want to, you can add your spouse/partner and/or children (under the age of 18 years old) as secondary members to your CRM membership (at no extra cost) by following these instructions. Please note that only the primary member has voting rights for the two companies, as secondary members are classified as non-voting members.

Once you have completed signing up as a primary member, you will be able to add your secondary members to your membership. To do this, login and go to your members' area. This area is under your Dashboard. Click on the Memberships tab to view your membership;

Now that you can view your memberships, click the  button for the available membership and complete the membership form with your secondary members details.

Note 1: If you would like your secondary member to have their own login, then complete the Username field. By doing this they will be sent an email to set their own password to login. If you do not add a Username, then the secondary member will not have login access.

Note 2: A secondary member can only be a member of a primary group member. They cannot have their own primary membership, and will always share the primary group member's expiry date. The secondary member's expiry date cannot be edited.

Once you have completed and saved your secondary member details, click save.

You can see all secondary members in your group membership listed below your membership card. Click the arrow to view their details.

Repeat this process until you have added all of your secondary members.
